Armenian Artist Armén Rotch uses tea-bag to create distinctive brown and yellow gradient art. In her works, tea bags are pixel-like and create vague lines and shadows, forming rhythmic compositions. The compositions bring out - as expected - fragrances, and allow for colour variations that are reminiscent of the autumn landscape.

This intense and repetitive concentration of tea bags, which has been practised by Rotch's for more than 20 years, generates an air of meditation and reverence, commensurate with his tea ritual in different peoples cultures around the world. According to Rotch, it imposes its own rhythm and teaches us not to look into but to look through.
