I chose to use unedited images for this project as it was shot on medium format camera, and I didn't want it to lose the rawness of them. This image shown here was digitally manipulated to be used as a powerful representation of equality, and also blue represent Dalit* empowerment. In the second image, I created a collage out of three different images of the ocean, taken in different parts of Kerala, South India, to represent the element of oneness within ourselves, no matter where we come from or our appearance.


*The term Dalit is a 'self-chosen' political name for the people who are considered the lowest in India.
