At the start of June, each person from the cohort was given the opportunity to deliver an artist talk. At the beginning of the course, I wasn't confident in public speaking. But since last year, I have been practising ad researching on public speaking, and this has given me the confidence and knowledge to deliver an artist talk successfully. I created a PowerPoint presentation consisting of 28 slides. I talked about how cultural exposure helped me to grow as an artist and then added a couple of freelance projects that I worked on, this included colour grading which is a new skill I learned in past five months. Then I talked about the project I am working on, also about the previous project. I described how these projects and research related to it had encouraged me to get a better understanding of the caste system in India. And my plans about working on this issue in the future to bring a positive change. I consider the talk was successful, and I fully illustrated a condensed form of my artistic development.
